Well what a month! The flu hit me with such a thump I am only just starting to get back to full strength again and the diet and healthy eating has gone a bit by the wayside.
But on the plus side I suppose - my appetite has been very limited and I have lost another 8 lbs over the last three weeks.
That brings the grand total to 20lbs since the start of the year and what a big difference it makes. My clothes - that I thought were going to have to go - now fit me again and I feel so much trimmer.
Now that Spring is here I am feeling much more energised and can now see my ideal weight being achieved well within target - hopefully by the end of the Summer.
If I can do it - so can you. Just take the attitude that you are worth the effort and that you want to be the best "you" you can be. Don't do it because someone else thinks you should - it has to be for you first of all.
I would love to hear from you if you need a little bit of moral support to get going.

Congrats! I just googled weight loss diary blog, and your posts have given me a lot of inspiration. I am def going to start off with your detox plan.
Wow, 20 pounds is great-- losing it slowly keeps it off so much easier. Best of success to you on the rest of your journey! I, too am approaching the grand "old" age of 50 and have to fight that age old battle of the bulge, so you've got my total empathy! Best of success!
